thanks for your soft!

Very impressive and awesome!

BTW: could u please add a function that allows two-side lingo looking up in Dictionary Mode?

hi, Demyanov,

I wanna to post some feedbacks on your soft.

I haven't applied the BIS/BES service on my BB, and I cannot use it because except the wifi connection, none of the connection method could make a connection to neither of the translation server.

I've tried the wizard to help me find a better approach to the server, and it is also failed.

could you lend me a hand on this problem?

thanks!

Hi, Allen!

If you have no BIS/BES on your BB so there are 2 options to use BBTran:

Direct TCP

Direct TCP via WiFi

Looks like your wizard failed to detect #1 option. That might happen if you did not configured APN settings in Options->Advanced Options->TCP.

you can find valid settings at: www.blackberryfaq.com/.../TCP_settings or modmygphone.com/.../Carrier_APN_Set

Then run autoconfiguration wizard once again from Settings screen.

Please let me know if that works or not for you. If no - then please try wizard and then use "Send Feedback" button.

(it will create a letter in BB mail, if BB mail does not work for you then just copy-paste content of log.txt attached in that email)

Regards,

Sergey Demyanov.

Great software Sergey! I became yesterday a new user for BBTran.

Any idea when the 'Babylon'support will be available?

Besides this, and as I'm new to BBTran, I just would like to know what's the rationale to limit the 'pro' edition to 500 translations per day?

Regards,

Christian.

Hi, Chris.
Welcome aboard!
I saw the Babylon Service and I like it. I was planning to add that service but was not sure if it is popular and what the benefits of babylon's translation. But thanks for the feedback, it's really + for babylon in such case. I'll put it up in todo list.
the limit of 500 is just a number that ensures 2 things:
1. user is not limited daily since 500 is more than enough for 99% of users.
2. since bbttran is a web-service it's a mechanism to avoid reusing this as a service in unneeded manner without notice.
So if 500 is not enough in your case - let me know, we'll fix that.

Also there is a note on the site that an "unlimited" version exists, but for a higher price.
Though I'm not sure if it is needed for everyone.
Since I have a usage statistics calculated, there is not much people even using free 50 translations edition.
Btw, I'm looking to rise 50 translation limit soon ;)

Hi, thanks so much for this great tool. Is it normal that in Dictionary Mode, the Language is set to English..which I can't seem to be able to change.

Am I not using the Dictionary correctly?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hi Johnathan,

yo are seeing only English because currently Dictionary works for English only.

I'm working now on extending it with other language.

Let me know what languages you're interested on most of all now...
