BBTran 1.6 Released!

Today,  I've at last uploaded release version of bbrtan v1.6.  In addition to improvements  described in BBTran 1.6 beta post this version:

  • Has new output rich formatting!
  • Optimized for Blackberry Storm usage
  • Supports 4.2.1+ devices
  • has more friendly license activation screens
  • has less bugs
  • app icons are now optimized for any device
  • app icon is changed if application is running on background
  • scrolling issue fixes

 

  • BBTran will atomatically prompt to update. This applies to 1.5 and 1.6 beta users.
  • Message integration feature is now available only for BBTran Pro users.
  • 4.0-4.2 OS devices will still use v 1.5 since not all new features are supported on these devices.
  • 4.2.1 devices has no labels glossy overlay feature (produced some bugs so was excluded).

  That was really long delay on this release. I hope to come with more update soon. Since 1.6 has a quite redesigned internals to be extended more and more easily. So we'll see thesaurus mode and words pronunciation soon as well as more integration!  Don't miss more updates and betas, subscribe to this log's RSS.

[Version 1.6 beta is not prompting me for an update

Yes, you're right I've found a bug today that v 1.6.0 (beta) and 1.6.1 fails on autoupdate just saying of connection error. So autoupdate is currently disabled for minor versions.

However there is 1.6.2 is ready that fixed that bug. please manually follow the link http://ota.bbtran.com/auto/ to get 1.6.2 now!

Btw, in 1.6.2. also was added additinal menu item "Copy Translation" as was requested by one customer via feedback form.

[Hi. I tried to install v 1.6.2 onto my BB Storm but I keep receiving a 907 invalid COD message. Can you help please.
